Issue 5 theme: Feral!

Kia ora koutou, 

We’re excited to officially share that the theme for circular issue 5 is Feral!

All-encompassing, raw, spiritual and gritty, we envision our next themed issue as a contained outlet. With so much going on in this fast-moving world, we offer a place for you to have at it. What gives you purpose? Explore emotional expression as a form of self-care. Consider how genres of literary speculative fiction, the notion of the contemporary novel, horror, mysticism, the gothic, and YA nostalgia and fantasy could act as springboards here.

Submissions for issue 5: Feral will be open from 10 August to 7 September 2025.

As we are currently going through our own evolution as a publishing collective, we will also be looking to curate a slightly smaller issue than last time. We thank you for your understanding.
